The first stop on your comprehensive sightseeing tour will be at The California Lighthouse. This lighthouse, named after the steamship California that was wrecked nearby in 1891, is famous for receiving distress signals from the Titanic before it sunk in 1912. It’s also not surprising for you to see herds of wild goats around the southern region of the lighthouse. However, we suggest that you do not approach them.

Next stop is a visit to the Alto Vista Chapel. The Alto Vista Chapel is a small Catholic church that was built in 1952 on the original site of the very first church built in Aruba. The church is surrounded by acres and acres of picturesque countryside and lots of sunshine.

Another very popular location that tourists request to see on their off-road rental excursion is the Bushiribana Gold Mine Ruins. Not many people know this, but Aruba had its very own gold rush back in the 19th century where precious metal was mined by use of dynamite. Although little of the sandstone and coral building remains, Aruba Adventure Tours loves to bring our more adventurous travelers to this very historic and stunning site to see.
